Impact Leaders Collective
A Peer Community for Social Impact CEOs
Honest Conversation. Strategic Clarity. Real Community.
Strategic clarity doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in conversation with peers who understand the complexity of leading mission-driven organizations. Impact Leaders Collective is a resource for social impact CEOs and Executive Directors ($1M+ revenue) navigating growth, funding transitions, and strategic inflection points.

Why Participate in the Impact Leaders Collective?
In the for-profit world, peer networks and resources are abundant. But social impact leaders? You're often navigating complexity alone.

You're supporting the same communities as other organizations, working with the same funders, facing similar challenges - yet rarely connecting to develop the relationships that enable honest conversation or collaboration.
The cohorts I've facilitated with hundreds of CEOs proved something important: when CEOs come together, they discover thinking partners, uncover collaboration opportunities, share resources, and get real about the complexity of mission-driven leadership.

Impact Leaders Collective Brings That Peer Connection to More Leaders
This is a pilot. I'm starting intimate - spring gatherings in my Denver home and a national remote cohort connecting leaders across geographies. As a founding member, you'll help shape what this becomes.

What to Expect
Honest conversations where you can think out loud with leaders who understand the terrain. Resources you need. Relationships with peers facing similar challenges. Collaboration opportunities you didn't know existed.
The Leadership Challenge
→ "Should we pursue earned revenue, or is that mission drift?"

→ "My co-founder and I want different things. How do we navigate this?"

→ "Foundation funding is drying up and I don't know what's next"

→ "We're at $3M revenue but operating like a $500K org. How do we build real infrastructure?"
Strategic clarity happens in conversation with peers who understand the terrain.
Why Peer Groups Work
→ Corporate CEOs have Vistage, YPO, and EO - social impact leaders deserve the same.

→ Proven results: member companies grow 2.2x faster with better decision-making.

→ Diverse perspectives challenge assumptions and reveal blind spots.

→ Confidential peer space allows honest conversation about real challenges.
Impact Leaders Collective brings this proven model to social impact leadership.

About Your Host

I'm a shapeshifter and bridge-builder. My background spans Silicon Valley tech, biotech entrepreneurship where I co-founded and exited a probiotics company, and strong ties in Colorado's philanthropic ecosystem - giving me deep cross-sector pattern recognition that helps leaders see around corners.

As founder of Synergy5280 and former CEO of Social Venture Partners Denver (2020 to 2023), I've spent over a decade coaching social impact leaders through growth inflection points, founder-to-CEO transitions, and building operational backbone. At SVP Denver, I designed cohort programs supporting 100+ organizations and led the organization through COVID-19 transformation and independence.

But more importantly, I've been in your shoes: leading through uncertainty, navigating board dynamics, and craving honest conversation with peers who truly understand.

I bring an extensive network and cross-sector insights, but what I value most is authentic, relationship-based connection.

The best thinking doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in conversation with peers who get the full complexity of leading mission-driven work.

That's what we're building here.
